LET’S DEBATE: Critical thinking in the contemporary world target group

People who have attended at least four years of English courses and already have a solid knowledge of the basic structures of the English language.

CONTENT
The proposed workshop offers participants the opportunity to discover the civilization, culture, and contemporary issues of the English-speaking world through readings, authentic materials, videos, audio resources, and, of course, conversations and debates.The variety of topics and the teaching resources provided will help participants develop their language skills by strengthening their ability to understand and communicate in both spoken and written English. Grammar points will be reviewed and practiced within the context of the activities. There will be also a Literary Corner, an interesting approach to authors and texts connected to the proposed issues.
Versione italiana – Destinatari: persone che hanno frequentato almeno 4 anni di corso di inglese e che hanno una solida conoscenza delle strutture di base della lingua inglese.

Contenuto del laboratorio: Il laboratorio proposto offre ai partecipanti l’opportunità di scoprire la civiltà, la cultura e l’attualità del mondo anglofono attraverso letture, materiale autentico, video e audio e , naturalmente, conversazioni e dibattiti. La varietà di argomenti e le risorse didattiche aiuteranno i partecipanti a sviluppare le loro competenze linguistiche rafforzando la loro abilità di comprensione e produzione nella lingua parlata e scritta. La grammatica sarà rivista e praticata all’interno del contesto delle attività. Ci sarà anche un “Angolo letterario”, un interessante approccio ad autori e testi collegati agli argomenti proposti.
